Possibly one of the best meals I’ve had in Barcelona. From the fun ambience to incredibly friendly service, this restaurant is a must for seafood lovers. The seafood mixed plate, clams, and Galician prawns were incredibly fresh and cooked to perfection. The bread and seaweed butter were perfect for soaking up the extra sauce so nothing went to waste. One of the best dinners of my life! Ranked in top 5 all time. The food was sublime, combinations of flavors, service, ambiance, & music. We tried as many dishes as possible and every one was incredible. Left feeling like that was a proper culinary experience. Thank you Batea team! Seasoned oysters, croquettes, octopus highly recommend but truly hard to pick my favorite!
We stopped in for lunch, have to say one of the best meals I have had in Barcelona. The clams were really exceptional the seafood in general was very good. Would certainly recommend. It was also quite reasonable priced for the quality. I would return for sure.
