The staffs are very kind, and it’s a perfect place to buy gifts. The prices are affordable, and the packaging is beautifully done. Highly recommended!
La Cereria Subirà, fundada el 1761 a tocar de la Plaça de Sant Jaume, és una pausa delicada en el temps: parets rosades, mobles de fusta antiga i calaixeres plenes d’espelmes que es manipulen amb una cura gairebé litúrgica. Entre l’escala central custodiada per “Les Negresses” i el seu estatus de comerç patrimonial, el visitant hi percep la Barcelona gremial i devota que encara respira al cor del Barri Gòtic. En mans de la família Subirà des del 1939 —proveïdors històrics de la Sagrada Família—, el taller-botiga manté viu un ofici que aquí es viu com a cultura.

Everyone visit this shop!! This shop was opened in 1761, it just feels so nice to visit it even if I was not a candle lover (I still bought two candles for my family though), as it smells so nice in there and it feels amazing to be in a shop with over 260 years of history.
