We love going to the market in town. It was very intriguing along with a great experience as a tourist. Lovely fruits vegetables and seafood and carried meats. By all means don't be scared and give it a walk you don't need a tour guide. Walk around the market find something to eat and drink and enjoy.

Mercat de Sant Antoni is a great alternative to the very touristic options in Barcelona. You will find everything you might need here: fresh meat and fish, fruits and vegetables, cheese, jamon, local products and bistro style food. There is also a bazaar type part of the market hall, under it a Lidl supermarket.

The beautiful structural building has been fully restored a year or two ago and it’s immaculate. There are lots of food stalls with meats, fish, seafood, and fresh vegetables & fruits all perfectly laid out and perfect to photograph. There are some tapas restaurants where you can…
