La platja del Somorrostro és una franja de litoral eminentment urbana, just més enllà de la Barceloneta i al costat del Port Olímpic, on el pols de la ciutat arriba fins a la sorra. Amb dutxes, pistes de vòlei, zones de fitness i escoles de vela, combina esport i descans amb una naturalitat molt barcelonina, i allarga el dia entre un bany a primera hora i un sopar mediterrani a tocar del mar. A la tarda-vespre, l’ambient s’encén amb un públic local i cosmopolita que es mou entre beach clubs, taules ben posades i la nit del front marítim.

Beautiful beach with very clean sand and warm water. There are sunbeds available to hire at €15 euros per bed and per brolly, which is quite pricey at €45 per day for two people but attentive staff running them. Lots of people and locals, very busy but a good vibe. Some lovely beach bars along the front - quite posh so wear suitable clothing and shoes. It would be good if there were cheaper options too for buying…
Somorrostro Beach felt relaxed and had a bit more space than the others, with a nice mix of locals and a few tourists. The atmosphere was perfect for unwinding by the water, and there were nearby spots for drinks and snacks after a swim.
