we really enjoyed our experience here. the service was great, with attentive and kind waiters. the monkfish was delicious, and the crema catalana we had for dessert was great. the atmosphere was pleasant and unpretentious.
Ca l’Estevet je tichá barcelonská instituce s rodokmenem od roku 1890, kde se katalánská kuchyně podává s neokázalou jistotou a úctou k rodinné kontinuitě. Menu stojí na sezónnosti a surovinách z trhů jako La Boqueria či Sant Antoni – od escalivady a ančoviček po fricandó, bacalao či capipota – v atmosféře, která působí stejně autenticky jako současně. Je to místo, kam chodí místní pro chuť Katalánska bez efektních zkratek: poctivě, přesně a s klidným rytmem centra města.

After many tapas restaurants in Barcelona, this was the most unique and flavorful meal I had. The ingredients are adventurous but every dish was delicious. The service felt upscale yet casual.
