The staffs are very kind, and it’s a perfect place to buy gifts. The prices are affordable, and the packaging is beautifully done. Highly recommended!
Cereria Subirà, nejstarší barcelonská svíčkárna založená roku 1761, je tichým útočištěm pár kroků od Plaça de Sant Jaume – s bledě růžovými stěnami, starými dřevěnými skříněmi a ikonickým schodištěm střeženým „Les Negresses“ působí spíše jako kabinet kuriozit než obchod. Rodina Subirà zde už po generace udržuje řemeslnou tradici a dodává svíce i pro Sagradu Famílii; návštěva je jemnou lekcí o katalánské úctě k práci, rituálu a materiálu. Everyone visit this shop!! This shop was opened in 1761, it just feels so nice to visit it even if I was not a candle lover (I still bought two candles for my family though), as it smells so nice in there and it feels amazing to be in a shop with over 260 years of history.
