Amazing place to enjoy exhibitions or for eating a menu at the restaurant. It is located near the magic fountains in Montjuic.
CaixaForum Barcelona is a cultural anchor in Montjuïc, set within Puig i Cadafalch’s Casaramona factory—an exquisite piece of Catalan Modernisme later sharpened by Arata Isozaki’s contemporary interventions. With no permanent collection, it excels in museum-calibre temporary exhibitions and a lively programme of talks, film and music, making it a distinctly Barcelona way to spend an afternoon: curious, design-conscious, and quietly ambitious.
Visitor impressions
Great building, good cafe, cool expos and events. Bargain prices and some free entry areas. Roofscape is beautiful
One of the best museum in Barcelona. Always 2 or 3 different exhibitions at the same time. You always can access to all of them with one single ticket. Each time I come to Barcelona I come here, it always good exhibitions with we'll written text, between art and anthropology. Definitely worth a visit
