Small cozy restaurant just 2 min walk to the beach. Really nice ppace with very warm and fast service. Food was excellent and big portions. We really enjoyed it. The very nice lady server recommended to order less as each portion is for two or three people, nice she did that.
Casa Maians is a quietly confident Barceloneta address set in a traditional low house, where the room feels more like a neighbourhood dining room than a restaurant. The menu stays deliberately tight—market-led Mediterranean classics with daily specials handwritten on a mirror—so the focus remains on pristine seafood and rice, from black rice with red prawns to impeccably made bombas. It’s an unhurried, deeply Catalan way of eating: seasonal, sea-facing, and effortlessly local.
Visitor impressions
Truly outstanding paella. We had the goose barnacles and lobster paella. Service can take a little while as the place is very busy and there's only one server, but a wonderful place to relax and enjoy the food.
AMAZING! MUST go to in Barcelona. Authentic Catalonian food, dishes you can’t find other places. They have dishes of the day just for that day and we got the rice with pork knuckles and prawns. SO delicious. The best meal we had while in Barcelona. We shared and it was suuuuper filling, didn’t need to eat for a long long time that day. The hostess Fuen was so friendly and nice and recommended the dish we got and it…
