we really enjoyed our experience here. the service was great, with attentive and kind waiters. the monkfish was delicious, and the crema catalana we had for dessert was great. the atmosphere was pleasant and unpretentious.
Ca l’Estevet, abierto desde 1890 y aún en manos familiares, es uno de esos comedores barceloneses donde la cocina catalana se expresa sin artificios: producto de mercado —de La Boqueria y Sant Antoni—, temporada y recetas bien entendidas. Food was served in generous portion and very tasty. After many tapas restaurants in Barcelona, this was the most unique and flavorful meal I had. The ingredients are adventurous but every dish was delicious. The service felt upscale yet casual.
