El MNAC, instalado en el majestuoso Palau Nacional de Montjuïc, propone un recorrido sereno y ambicioso por siglos de arte, con una colección de pintura mural románica difícil de igualar en Europa. Entre góticos, modernistas y maestros como El Greco o Dalí, el museo traza una lectura muy barcelonesa —y profundamente catalana— de la historia visual, coronada por una de las panorámicas más sugerentes de la ciudad.

A must do. If there's one museum you should visit in Barcelona, it's this one. It covers Catalan art from every period of history. The room with the church ceilings is very impressive and unique! I recommend visiting when it's free: Sundays after 3 p.m.! It took me approximately 3 hours.

Ok, here's my guide to visiting MNAC: get down at Plaza de Espanya and walk directly towards it. The stairs and the view upfront are the best part for me. The tickets were too expensive for me, but there was a free entrance day (last year, the last sunday of the month had free entrance or something like that).
