يقع المتحف التشيكي للموسيقى في قلب مالا سترانا داخل كنيسة باروكية سابقة ذات تاريخ متحوّل، حيث تتجاور طبقات العمارة بين الباروك المبكر والكلاسيكية في فضاء يليق بسيرة براغ الثقافية. المعرض الدائم «الإنسان – الآلة – الموسيقى» يقرأ الآلات بوصفها حرفة وفكراً وصوتاً، وتبلغ اللحظة ذروتها أمام بيانو عام 1775 الذي عزف عليه موزارت في براغ عام 1787. وفي القاعة الكبرى، تُكمل الإضاءات والمؤثرات السمعية التجربة دون أن تطغى عليها، مع معارض مؤقتة ومحاضرات وحفلات كلاسيكية تمنح المكان إيقاعاً معاصراً.
It was a nice museum with two exhibitions and some music facts to learn about musical instruments and equipment. The staff were friendly and helpful. On site lockers and cloakroom available to store jackets and coats. They allowed for a push chair to be kept near the lockers aswell. Recommend and good value also.
Had a lot of fun here with the history of music. So much to see with lots of interactive displays and instruments. You can listen to various instruments in different rooms. I loved to play the electric guitar, mini organ and harp! Inside it's not busy at all so you can enjoy the place and it has a relaxing experience. Some beautiful instruments, many of which I have never come across before.
It is such a beautiful museum containing a lot of musical instruments. Some of them are interactable, so you can try to play them yourself. There are also some interactable panels where you can learn interesting informations about the instruments. Children have free entry.
