يمنحك متحف مدينة براغ، المفتوح منذ 1883، قراءةً دقيقة لتاريخ العاصمة عبر سردٍ متدرّج من العصور القديمة حتى الباروك، في مبنى يعود إلى مطلع القرن العشرين حيث تتقاطع الذاكرة الحضرية مع الطموح المعماري. قلب الزيارة هو نموذج لانغفايل الورقي الشهير: مدينة كاملة بمقياس 1:480 تُفصّل أكثر من ألفي مبنى بصرامة تكاد تكون علمية، كما لو كنت تقرأ براغ صفحةً صفحة. ولمن يفضّل منظوراً معاصراً، يضيف عرض السينما ثلاثية الأبعاد في القبو رحلةً افتراضية فوق النموذج المُرقمن، تُعيد رسم براغ القرن التاسع عشر بلغة اليوم.
The painting of the city and the miniature 3D model of the city was really nice. Not stroller friendly to get into. My husband and I needed to carry the stroller up and down some stairs before we got to an elevator. I would've loved to spend more time, but it was difficult with the baby. But I can see how this would be great for kids. It's free to enter until the end of February.
The museum is of high quality. The model of prague from the 19th century is of high quality and the exhibition really highlights it at the gems it is. Let yourself be transported throughout the history of Prague with this amazing, interactive and delicate exhibition.
Newly renovated museum that has now lots of interactive interesting features. Though not so big, anyone can enjoy it, especially families with children. At the time of my review, entrance is free
