The glass designs are exceptional but the permanent exhibition is not as good but very interesting. Buy the ticket for all exhibitions, not a big difference but you see a lot more
Uměleckoprůmyslové museum je tichá encyklopedie pražského vkusu – od skla a textilu po fotografii, knižní kulturu a design, čtená ve vrstevnicích času od pozdní antiky až k 20. století. V renesančně laděné budově Josefa Schulze, jen pár kroků od Rudolfina, si všímejte detailů: reliéfů řemesel na fasádě i působivé vstupní haly. The glass exhibit was wonderful as was one of a local jewelry designer. There’s something for everyone here with dresses, jelwery, design, furniture and more. Well done museum. Very quiet.
Student discount price was very affordable and I was able to see the permanent exhibitions and also two new ones on the top floor. The glass themed exhibition was so exciting too see. Definitely recommended. Also, it was very quite most of the time.
