Sansho patří k podnikům, které citlivě propojují pražskou současnost s asijskými technikami – šéfkuchař Paul Day tu staví na nose-to-tail přístupu a na pečlivě vybraných lokálních surovinách, často s inspirací z vietnamské komunity ve městě. V neokázale urbánním prostoru se menu mění podle sezóny a degustační varianta nejlépe ukáže jeho rukopis: odvážné kombinace, čistá práce s chutí a nápoje s důrazem na naturální vína a řemeslné pivo. Rezervace je zde spíše součástí rituálu než formalita.
We wanted to try out something new, that’s why we chose Sansho, a fusion Asian restaurant served by not-Asian-chef. The soft shell crab is absolutely the star of starters. Other dishes were amazing, too. The main dishes are full of right flavors, a bit too chilly to my taste. Overall, nice experience.
I chose this restaurant for my birthday celebration and I’m happy with my choice. Great ambiance, the view outside is amazing. Service was great, the waiter was polite and friendly. The startes were okay, as a main dish I’ve had the best duck in my life, together with coconut rice the dish turned out to be very special. Huge wine list is a plus as well. Will definitely come back to try the registration menu.
The people and the food created an amazing experience that I will not forget. I have eaten a lot of food over the years but the fun I had eating the funky menu really put a smile on my face. The staff is beyond amazing and I really can't recommend this place enough.
