Absolutely supreme quality! The service was beyond perfect. I’m a bit of a picky eater, but they were happy to adapt the dish for me without any issues. If I’m ever in town again, this is my first stop!
Štangl v karlínské Esce nabízí seversky střídmou, ale velmi pražsky ukotvenou kuchyni: lokální suroviny tu procházejí fermentací, zrání i „teplými lednicemi“ a v otevřené kuchyni se z nich skládá degustační příběh s přesnou prací s chutí a texturou. Atmosféra připomíná současnou laboratoř řemesla—hydroponie jako terárium, ručně vyřezávané detaily a promyšlené párování vín i nealko dávají večeru intelektuální tempo, jaké Karlín umí. Je to místo pro hosty, kteří chtějí zažít českou krajinu v moderní, disciplinované interpretaci.

This place was one of the highlights of our visit to Prague and one of the best meals we had there. The food was excellent and beautifully prepared. The only minor downside was that the portions felt a bit small if you opt for the three-course meal, and the wine we chose wasn’t to my taste. Other than that, everything was outstanding, and I would absolutely recommend it
