يُعدّ Café Museum من أكثر مقاهي فيينا التصاقًا بروحها الثقافية: مساحةٌ وُلدت عام 1899 كملتقى للفنانين والمفكّرين، ولا تزال تحتفظ بأناقتها البسيطة وإيقاعها الهادئ حيث يقرأ الضيوف الصحف وكأن الزمن يُمهلهم أكثر. اجلسوا قرب نوافذه بعد الأوبرا أو مبنى السيِّسيون، واطلبوا قهوةً فييناوية مع قطعة من حلوياتهم المنزلية—فهنا تُفهم «ثقافة المقهى» بالتذوّق لا بالشرح، ومع أمسيات القراءة الشهرية يتقاطع المذاق مع الأدب في مشهدٍ فييناوي معاصر.
We ordered an egg Benedict, the traditional Viennese breakfast and the special - Florentine toast. The food was amazing, especially the egg Benedict. The poached eggs were perfectly made and the ham goes really well with it. The Viennese breakfast was okay, not too special but good enough. On the pricier side, this lovely café has plenty of outdoor seating when the weather is nice, and a great menu. The food is fantastic, and the service is prompt and welcoming. If budget isn’t an issue, it’s definitely worth trying local specialties like goulash or schnitzel.
The cappuccino is really good, with creamy milk foam that's rich and slightly sweet. Also, The Kaiserschmarren is sweet but not excessively so, fluffy, and perfectly matched with honey sauce—and we enjoyed it thoroughly. Though slightly pricey, it’s well worth a visit.
