في قبوٍ حجريّ تحت كنيسة روبريخت، يحتفظ «جازلاند» منذ 1972 بنبضٍ حيّ يجمع نجوماً دوليين مع موسيقيين نمساويين، كأنه أرشيفٌ مسموع لتاريخ الجاز بكل تحولاته من السوينغ إلى الطليعة. المكان حميم وغير متكلّف، حيث تُرافق السهرات أطباقاً فيينية كلاسيكية بلمسة عالمية—من الشنيتسل إلى غولاش الفاصولياء—في تجربة تلتقط جانباً أنيقاً من فيينا المعاصرة بعيداً عن الرسميّات.
Really nice place. Each set is around 45-60 minutes, with 30 minute breaks. Live performances every night from 21:00 but closed on Sundays. Be prepared to have a plan B because it can get very full and large groups are likely to be turned away if you come late. There is an entrance fee. The woman accepting new customers is very kind.
We celebrated my husband’s birthday at Jazzland, and it was such a great experience. The cozy cellar setting gave the place a timeless, old-school vibe that felt effortlessly cool. The mushroom soup was delicious—easily the best I’ve had—and the house wine paired perfectly. We went for some Jazz in the evening and had a wonderful time! The vibes are amazing and the Jazzband had so much joy that we couldn’t stop smiling :) Do be aware that it cost 22€ per person and you can only pay cash!
