The public exhibition is free and you can leave your jacket in the entrance for free also. Very kind and helpful stuff. The exhibition has a lot of paintings and artifacts from the bronze era up to modern days. Totally worth a visit if you have time.
Lovely location. Great modern building. Excellent collection of artefacts and art spanning from the bronze age to the modern day. They even have a couple of Klimt paintings. It's also free to enter.
This was a rather well curated collection on the history of Austria, with a particular focus on Vienna, from the neolithic period through the Roman empire through the Middle ages and the world wars all the way to the present.
