Loved it! Since the renovation, Café Bräunerhof has become even better. The refurbishment was done beautifully, preserving its authentic traditional Viennese coffeehouse charm while giving the space a fresh feel. If you enjoy places like Schwarzes Kameel or Café Prückel, you’ll feel right at home here. A classic Viennese café experience with timeless atmosphere, excellent coffee and food, and plenty of character!!
If you think observing locals of Wien reading their newspapers in peace and quite is a good tourist activity; then I recommend this place to you. This is an authentic spot to try the food and beverages of Wien a bit away from the tourist crowd. Waiters are helpful with explaining the menu. If you don't break the vibe, you'll enjoy an authentic local experience. We ate veal and it was good.
We were a little afraid because of all the other reviews here, but the others cafes were full at the time. We had lunch there and everything was fine. The service was fast and the waiter was nice. It's a traditional cafe and we enjoyed the atmosphere. There were some comments here saying that they didn't give a receipt and that they charge a service fee which didn't happen with us or the table next to us. We paid…
