Loos American Bar (1908) je drobný, téměř komorní manifest vídeňské moderny od Adolfa Loose – 27 m² mramoru, dřeva, onyxu a zrcadel, které prostor promění v elegantní optickou iluzi. Pije se tu s respektem ke klasice: koktejly jsou přesné, atmosféra těsně sdílená a společenská, jak to k centru Vídně patří. Je to místo, kde se design a noční život potkávají bez okázalosti – a kde soukromí ustupuje kultivované konverzaci.

Since there's not much space inside, if you manage to snag a good spot early on, I think you'll have a great time. It's a place I'll definitely visit again when I return to Vienna, and I recommend it to everyone.
A tiny bar dating back to 1908 designed by an architect called Loos hence the name. About 6 x 4 m in size inside, the use of lighting and mirrors gives the impression that the bar is bigger. There are also seats outside. Cocktails in range of €12.50 to €16 or €17. We paid in cash though I think there is a minimum spend of €30 on cards.
