Wonderful architecture, but otherwise experience depends on whats exhibited. Saw some outstanding contemporary art previously, but rather boring 60s art history stuff last time.
mumok v MuseumsQuartier působí jako záměrná současná „inkluze“ do barokní Vídně – tmavá čedičová fasáda Ortner & Ortner je stejně výrazná jako program uvnitř. Sbírka 20. a 21. století s ikonami moderny i avantgardy (od Picassa po Warhola a Richtera) se zde potkává s promyšlenými dočasnými výstavami, které sledují i aktuální společenské otázky. Zvláštní pozornost si zaslouží instalace Kiesler: Endless House – vizionářská představa organického prostoru, kde se umění, architektura a design přirozeně prolínají.
