Für den Besuch empfiehlt sich die rechtzeitige namentliche Registrierung (bis zu 28 Tage im Voraus) sowie ein amtlicher Lichtbildausweis – ganz im Wiener Sinne: formvollendet, aber unkompliziert.
The Austrian Parliament complex is truly incredible. I took a photo tour, which was free, and enjoyed walking through all of the historic spaces here. The building is incredibly beautiful and my jaw practically dropped to the floor a couple of times. Be sure to go on a sunny day so you can enjoy the beautiful rooms in full sunlight. The Parliament building is every bit as impressive on the inside as it is from the outside. If you would like to join the free guided tour, be sure to book your spot in advance. Visitors are asked to arrive about 15 minutes early and enter through the entrance behind the Athena statue. After passing through security, staff members guide you to the tour meeting point. The interior is well worth seeing.
This was one of the best experiences we had in Vienna. We booked a free guided tour in advance since there weren’t many English tour times available.
