I always enjoy coming to this restaurant because the service is perfect, prompt, and very friendly. The food is well prepared and well seasoned. The menu variety is wide yet thoughtfully curated. I’ll definitely come back again soon.
Im Gasthaus Stern in Simmering erlebt man Wien abseits der Ringstraßen-Routine: ein alpin geprägtes Wirtshaus mit viel Holz, Butzenscheiben und jagdlicher Ikonografie, in dem Tradition nicht inszeniert, sondern gelebt wird. Die Küche – unter Peter Zinter – bleibt regional verankert und zeigt zugleich Mut zur präzisen Innereien- und Wildküche, oft mit feiner, fast französischer Strenge. Wer Wien gern über den Tellerrand der Klassiker hinaus versteht, findet hier eine sehr heutige Form des Gasthauses – selbstbewusst, eigenwillig, lokal.
