A hidden, totally unspoiled gem. A non- touristy old Vienna style pub/restaurant. Very good food, wine and draft beer. The traditional wood panelled interior is lovely and there is a little terrace when the weather is good. I hope this great little beisel never changes.
This is a top authentic Austrian restaurant...no frills but vintage in building and furnishings. The food is just wonderful, the service is charming and helpful with a German menu translated for those that only speak English 😊 We had the schnitzel and the boiled beef ( old time cooking !) which is to die for as is the sauerkraut. Highly recommend for local food! The girl working there was very friendly and helpful. She spoke excellent English and helped me with the translation of the menu. The food was amazing, I had a soup and then the veal schnitzel that is served with a mixed salad. Everything was excellent!
