Extremly well preserved, defenetely worth visiting. The Family Liechtenstein has done it all to keep the authentic feeling of the building and the rooms. 4* because there is nothing to buy as a memory. No souvenirs, no books, nothing.
Das Stadtpalais Liechtenstein ist ein selten stilles Statement des Wiener Hochbarock: Stuckdecken, Neo-Rokoko-Interieur und originale Thonet-Parkettböden bilden eine Bühne, auf der sich Handwerkskunst und Geschichte unaufdringlich verdichten. Bei geführten Besichtigungen öffnen sich die Fürstlichen Sammlungen mit Meisterwerken von der Renaissance bis zum Biedermeier – ein intimer Blick in jene elegante Kunstwelt, die Wiens kulturelles Selbstverständnis bis heute prägt. Eine Voranmeldung lohnt, allein schon für die eindrucksvoll restaurierten Lobmeyr-Luster, die das Palais in ein besonders feines Licht setzen.

Great place. Not so easy to get inside. You should purchase ticket in advance. They only allow visits on Fridays and only limited amount of people with guided tour. Unfortunately, it is not allowed to make a lot of photos inside, but the place is very nice and beautiful. And due to difficulties, it is not overcrowded :)
Beautiful palace, one of two, owned by the princely family Lichtenstein and dates back to the late 1600s and contains artwork from the 16th-18th century. This is still an active residence, but not the portion that is on the tour. The Palace was spared from bombs that fell in vienna during WWII.
