Urbanek am Naschmarkt ist eine winzige, kultiviert-rustikale Feinkostadresse, in der Wiener Originale und Connaisseurs ganz selbstverständlich nebeneinanderstehen. Der Fokus liegt auf sorgfältig kuratiertem Käse, Schinken und Wurstwaren – gerne begleitet von einem Glas Wein und einer Beratung, die Herkunft und Handwerk ernst nimmt. Wer den zeitgenössischen Wiener Genuss verstehen möchte, findet hier ein Stück Marktleben in seiner konzentriertesten, elegantesten Form.
It’s a little hole in a wall place. The area is very touristy, but once you open the door and enter the shop it’s in a different world. It’s a bar with only a few spots to stand not more than 10 people The owner is very friendly and very knowledgeable. A lot of delicious Secretary and cold cuts cheese and drink drinks. One of my favorite place in Vienna
Best place at the Naschmarkt for quality food and good champagne. Authentic owner who really lives the vibes. Must visit.
As a Bourdain pilgrim, Urbanek was probably one of the best spots I’ve been to (and I’ve visited a handful!) A small, family-run spot in Naschmarkt; we were warmly welcomed by its owner and immediately suggested their bestsellers including the pork belly and roast beef. Highly recommended amongst all restaurants in the area!
